Importing photos into storyboard

M

mswald

I would like to import some photos from a CD into my
Collections on Movie Maker to add to my story board to
include on my finished video I'm editing. I am able to
get them to show on the Collections, but will not drag
onto my storyboard. They merely show up as a big red X.
They were saved as a JPEG file on my CD. Also, on my
collections file, they replace a clip that already
appears and do not go to a separate file.

Where should they be going and how do I get them to do
that so that they can be added to my finished video?

Thank you in advance for your help.

You should copy the file from the CD to your hard drive. Then either click
on the red X and tell Movie Maker which file to use, or delete the one on
the timeline and replace it with the new one - import it and drag it to the
timeline.
