Importing Outlook PST files

I exported my outlook email fiels as PST's to a zip disk
so that I could transfer them to my updated computer.
However when I tired to import the files back into Outlook
with their respective folders the directory is empty.
Does anyone have an idea of what is wrong and how I can
retrieve this critical data?

What happens if you simply open the .PST files using Outlook's File | Open
command? That's the preferred method, anyway...
