Importing old .pst files into Outlook/Outlook Express

I backed up my .pst files and had my computer wiped clean,
reinstalled Windows XP and Office XP. How do I import the
old .pst files into Outlook Express and Outlook? The help
file doesn't tell me how.

You can transfer your old .pst file(s) onto your hard disk from your backup,
make certain the Read Only attribute is disabled, then, when you start
Outlook, open the .pst file that you just transferred onto your hard drive.

Once that's accomplished, you could use the File, Import menus in Outlook
Express to import the messages from Outlook into Outlook Express, as well.

Did you find the answer to this question? I have a
similary problem. I am migrating from W95 to XP, and
would like to move my folders, but am not sure how to do
it. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
