Importing old OE into new computer Windows Live Mail

I have bought a new computer which has Windows 7 on it so it will not
support Outlook Express. How can I transfer all my messages and folders from
Outlook Express in the old computer to Windows Live Mail which I will be
installing on the new computer?

Copy all the .dbx files from Outlook Express and save them to a portable
drive. On your Windows 7 computer, copy those files to an empty folder
under Documents. Open Windows Live Mail, then File, Import, Messages,
choose "Microsoft Outlook Express 6". The rest is obvious.
Windows Live Mail can't import directly from external media.
