Importing my wife's website from the internet into my Frontpage

Hello,

My wife started up with a direct marketing company and they created a
website in my wife's name. I would like to import the information from the
website into Frontpage 2003 so I can edit the information that is on her
website. Is it possible to do this without getting in touch with the direct
marketing company that created her website? If so, how?

Use the import website method

But what good is it going to do if he can't put it back on the site
after editing? Me thinks he is going to have to have OK from the
owners of the site, and my bet is, his wife does not own the site.

Hello Tom J and Papa Bear,

I did use the import wizard site but I got the following error:

"The import wizard was unable to save to the Web site. Another user may be
editing this file, or the file may be checked out under source control."

The weird thing was that after I got this error I was still able to import
one .pdf file from the website but that was it.

Tom, to your point--You are right, my wife doesn't own the site. So you're
saying the only way I will be able to edit the site is by getting permission
from the site owner?

Thanks for your imput!

You have to have the registered site name and password, so you have to
have the owner's permission, which you are not likely to get in your
type situation. They control!!
