Importing inbox into new laptop

Copy the pst file onto a CD. Then copy that file onto your new laptop.
Remove the "Read-Only" attribute. Then in outlook, File-Import and Export
and follow the instructions.
 
Or use File-> Open-> Outlook Data File.

When you use the Import and Export wizard you'll loose your custom forms and
views.
