Hi, Just imported all my messages from Yahoo; now how can I import the
folders or do I need to start from scratch. Just got this new computer and
has Vista Windows; reading Windows Vista Mag and it says I could get all my
email accounts in Windows Live mail. I downloaded it. I followed the steps,
but couldn't get pass "In the main screen, hit ALT to bring up the menu;
didn't happen, so I couldn't add any accounts. Anyone know why? I got
frustrated so I linked my yahoo account with my ISP account which is Verizon;
at least that worked. But I always loved Outlook, thus I linked yahoo with
Outlook and here I am trying to import the folders. Thanks.

You're message was posted using the web interface thus the email client is not visible to use at this end.
Which one of these 3 email clients are you using?
WLM is an optional downloadable(not provided with Vista) email client capable of pop3, imap, and http account access.
WM is included in Vista and is not http capable
Outlook is an optional email client provided with Office.

If your Yahoo account is configured for Pop3/Smtp access, folder created in the Web Yahoo interface or a prior email client do not
sync with Outlook.

It appears the article you read was commenting on Windows Live Mail(WLM).

After you clarify which email client program you are using, we can
probably help you with importing folder mail from Yahoo.
