importing excel spreadsheet into contacts

I have an Excel spreadsheet of a few hundred contacts with field names that I
would like to import into Outlook as individual contacts so that I can send a
mass e-mail. How do I do this?

Just a sidenote, if the fields you are importing are "user-defined" fields
in Outlook, you won't be able to import these via Outlook's import wizard.
You'll need a 3rd party utility. If this is the case, one of the
ContactGenie solutions may be of interest - http://www.contactgenie.com/
