Importing Contacts

OK I have an Excel 2007 spreadsheet with named ranges to import into Outlook
2007 contacts. However when I open the Import routine in Outlook the only
Excel option is for Excel 97-2003. I've also tried to import from Access
2007 but again Outlook only shows Access 97-2003 formating option available.
Any suggestions?

Load the spreadsheet into Excel 2007 and save it as an Excel 2003 file then
use that file

Been there done that. When it imported I got about 400 blank contact entries
and another 156 fof just addresses and no other data.

Most likely cause of blank entries and missing info is an incorrect "Named
Range". Converting from .xlsx to .xls won't cause the data in the worksheet
to change.

You may also try just saving your worksheet as a CSV file and importing that
instead - named ranges are not a factor with CSV files.
