Importing Eudora Mail and Addresses (ver 5.1)

I have a problem in importing the Mail and Addresses from
Eudora 5.1 (Mac Platform) to Outlook 2003 running on
Windows XP Home.

I have tried the Microsoft solution in their KB article
829985, but this didn't work.

any assistence warmly appreciated...

Dear Pete

I think I did this a while back and I am using my memory
banks to enlighten you...so bear with me. I think the
easiest way is to save your address book from Eudora as
a .csv file (comma seperated values). Then go into
Outlook and import it from the saved location. If that
doesn't work then try the same process but save it as a
Tab delimited file this time and try again. Hope that
helps.

Two things - have you downloaded and installed Eudora on your Windows
machine and transferred the mail files to that? (I'm assuming Eudora uses
the same email file format whether it's Mac or PC) and secondly, after that,
use Outlook Express as an intermediary step.
