Importing Error

When I tried to import a clip, an error came up that said, "... is not
indexed and cannot be improted." If anyone knows what is causing this problem
or how to solve it, it would help me alot.

Where are you attempting to import from? Your hard drive? or directly from a
camcorder?

I assume you are importing a clip from your harddrive.
This error message comes up when importing MPEG files or when importing WMV
files that are not indexed.
If it is an MPEG convert it to AVI or WMV and import that.
If it is a WMV try opening it with Windows Media Encoder to reindex it and
then it should work.
