Importing Dynamic disk

im using windows xp -sp2.i used basic partitioning.
when i connect the new harddisk which is dynamic partition, there is no
logical drive.i try to import foreign disk using administrator account but
error occur-
INTERNAL Error - No valid disk belonging to the disk group was found
(C1000096)

please help

I'm having this same problem. My foreign dynamic disk is a SATA RAID Array
0. Device manager sees it as a VIA SATA RAID 0 SCSI, but these are NOT SCSI
drives.
