importing contacts I can only get first 3 phone numbers?

When I import contacts from excel using the import wizard, even after
matching fields to field for some reason I can only get the first three to
five from my list of 190 to import the phone numbers althought other fields
all seem to be there. I have even tried coping the phone numbers to other
fields and re importing and still it can only give me the first few in the
list. It almost seems like when it hits the first field that contains no
phone number (even though it isn't a required field) that after that none of
the remaining contacts phone numbers appear.
Anyone experience this kind of import headache.

As you don't say which product you're trying to import into, I can't direct
you to a specific group in which to post your question. I can tell you that
this .NET programming group isn't it.
