Importing contacts from Excel 2003/tab delimited files

Hi,
I tried to import contact information from an Excel 2003 workbook and I get
an error message about the name ranges not being definted. I went into
Excel's help and looked up how to do that, and then tried to reimport that
info into Outlook 2003 as contact info and still didn't work. Any suggestions?

Did you save the Excel file after you created a named range covering the entire block of data?

Yes, I did try doing that. I named the appropriate cells and tried that.
