Importing Business contacts

My apologies if this is posted elsewhere, but I didn't find it...

My PC died, probably the power supply, but the hard drive is completely
intact. I imported the .pst file to the new PC and voila, had all of my old
emails and contact in my address book. However, no business contacts were
imported. I remember seeing somewhere that I needed to import a .bcm file,
but couldn't find this file on my old hard drive.

Suggestions?

Hi George,

The .bcm file is created when you "export" BCM contacts and data, and this
is not done automatically. Since your hard drive from your old PC is still
intact, you might want to launch Outlook 2007 from your old hard drive,
export BCM data (from:
1. Outlook toolbar >
2. Business Contact Manager >
3. Database Tools >
4. Import and Export ... >
5. Export),
and then import that file to your new PC.

Hope that helps,
John Huang [MSFT]
