Importing and updating slides.

I am looking for a way to import slides into a existing presentation. I main
tain a vast slide show for my work. This slide show houses slides from other
agencies that I must place into my presentation. I am wanting to make it
where these other agencies update thier slides and save them to a location on
a shared drive. Then when I open my presentation, I want the slides to
update with the current slides from the other agencies. I believe this would
be some sort the "live updating" feature of excel. I hope this
question/statement makes sence and that someone can help.

This cannot be done with PowerPoint alone automatically. If you use
PowerPoint 2007 and SharePoint Server 2007, you can create a slide library
on the SharePoint. But that means giving the other agencies access to your
SharePoint and make them edit the uploaded slides.
