I just received the new version of Front Page. I have 3 existing websites on the intranet. How can I get the websites into Frontpage to maintain them from now on??? I am using Netscape composer to creat them, and maintain the changes at this time, and using an FPT program to get the changes to the intranet. I need to get them all into Front Page..........HELP please!

Carol,

There are several ways but using the Import Web Wizard
built into FrontPage would be a good choice.

Open FP and do the following:

File> New> Website Templates
In the General Tab select Import Website Wizard, in the
Specify Location of Website, navigate to the My Webs
Directory and then name your web. It should look
something like this:

C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Webs\Name Your
Web

Click OK.

The Wizard will launch, type in the pathway of the
website you wish to import (http://www.yourweb.com)

Click Next and follow the screen prompts.

The import wizard will now download the site into your
hard drive. After the import is complete, double check
the web carefully to make sure all files were imported.

NOTE: If you are using Java Script, ASP, PHP or any other
scripting language, you will need to FTP the files to
your web. Also keep in mind the import web wizard will
only import linked files.

If any files were not imported, just FTP them to the new
web created.

Hope it helps,
JDR
