Can anyone offer guidance on how to import address book
from Windows 98 into Windows XP? Thank you

You don't mention what email program so I will assume Outlook Express. The
address book has a .wab extention so on the 98 machine do a find for *.wab,
you may have to make sure you are searching for hidden and system files.
Copy that to some media and then in OE on the XP machine just do a file,
import, address book and point to that file.

If you are using Outlook Express, you can just copy the address book
file to the address book folder - However, when you set up XP you must
do it the same way you did it in 98 - same names etc.

Accounts, emails, and other things can be exported/imported.

I got mine to work and it has two identities. That is twice as tricky,
but it can be done.

this can work IF he is running the same version of Outlook Express on both
systems. If different versions, then he must import the old address book
into the new version.
