Importing A *.WAB FILE INTO Windows Live Mail Beta

Discussion in 'Windows XP Beta' started by D. Spencer Hines, Oct 25, 2008.

  1. Is this a "known issue"?

I've posted this to the Windows Live Mail newsgroup and have not
received an answer of any sort.

When I try to import a *.wab file of address-book contacts from OE 6
into the WLM beta, using XP SP3, the following happens:

    1. The file imports cleanly and all contacts in OE 6 are present in
    WLM.

    2. I close WLM beta.

    3. The next time I open WLM beta the contacts are gone. I have zero
    contacts.

Do I need to do something to *save* the contacts in WLM beta?

Does anyone have insights into this and perhaps a solution?
