Importin Data from Micrsoft Works

Our old database was created a long time ago in a galaxy far away in Works.
It's very basic but as there are several thousand customer name & address
records with a couple of dates and another field I need, which I don't want
to have to re-type, how do I import them into my shiny new Access database?

Hi Helen - in Access on the File Menu - go to Import and check the Files of
Type. Then go back to your Works file and Export or Save and also look at
Files of Type (or the equivelent). Access is actually very good at Importing
different file types. Assuming that your Works file is a simple Flat File you
then will need to work out if you want to break it down.
