Import Win98 Dialup to WinXP Pro

Tragic Magic

I am leaving for Scotland to visit my girlfriend TUESDAY, she has a
desktop running Windows 98SE, and a new laptop running Windows XP Pro.
She uses BT for dialup, and I guess there support is crap. She can oly
see the dialup number and username, as expected, but has no idea of her
password, as most dailup users she has auto connect and can't remember
her password. I seem to recall a program that you could use to
Export/Import Dialup accounts between WIN 95/98/ME/2000, but don't know
of one for XP. I would like to be able to import her settimgs from 98
to XP. Any porgrams, reg keys, etc. that might be able to do this.

Thanks

This may or may not work, but the below regestry entrys appear on
the win95 and XP regestrys, and I've used this on win95/98
machines. . On the win98 machine, go to the registry and export
the below two keys. put the two exported .reg files on a floppy
or such, and put them on the XP machine. Then double click the
reg files and they should be entered in the XP regestry. I don't
know what impact this would have on previous DUN entrys on the XP
machine. As for the lost password, there is a program on the net
that will get the password from a DUN session. It was origionally
used to get the passwords for netzero and other free net
connections when they were free. Do a google usenet search for
netzero crack and such (but she should be able to call her ISP
and get her password emailed to her email account).
