Import Outlook Express messages to Outlook?

I have been using Outlook Express forever, and now find myself with Outlook
on my new computer. I have hundreds of important messages on my old computer
that I'd like to import into Outlook 2003. Is this possible? I downloaded
them as .dbx into a Flash drive already, but I can't seem to get them to
import. PLEASE HELP! Thanks! Lisa

You need to import them into OE on your new machine first. Have a look here
http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/backup/index.htm on how to do that.
Then having done that, EXPORT from OE. Do NOT import in Outlook.
Good luck.

Thank you Gordon. I do not have OE on my new computer. Any
suggestions?

Yes, you do have OE on your new computer. Outlook Express ALWAYS comes with
Windows now. If you can't see it, click Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove
Programs>Add/remove Windows Components, scroll to Outlook Express and
install it.
