Import of messages from outlook express

Hello,
I've just got a new pc with vista. Copied all my messages etc onto disc from
old pc created in outlook express. Followed instructions on here, copied
files from disc to c:\users\mydocuments but everytime I try to uncheck the
read only it doesn't hold the change... So I try to import messages via
windows mail it doesn't find any messages, this is getting very frustrating
,any ideas anyone?

Any help would be much appreciated.

That's not the reason it's failing.

Did you include the "folders.dbx" file? It is required.

What path are you seeing when you select My Documents?

C:\users\mydocuments is not a valid path.
