import into yes/no field?

Hi

I'm trying to import more records into my call management database. I am importing from Excel

The table I would like to import the data into, has Yes/No fields in it. Is it possible to import into a table with Yes/No fields

The columns in the spreadsheet that will go into the Yes/No fields have a Y or an N in them. It would not do an import until I changed the data type in Access for the Yes/No fields into a Text field

So now I have Y's and N's in those fields. I would really like those fields to be Yes/No data types, instead of Text

Thanks in advanc

A yes/no field is just a format for a true/false field which has the
underlying values of -1 for True and 0 for False.
If you import those numbers you should be fine.

Try replacing the Y/N in your spreadsheet with TRUE and
FALSE. This has worked for me before.
