Hi,
I read that I can import email express contents. The help file indicates,
doing the following :

"In Outlook, on the File menu, click Import and Export"

Whereas, I don't have this option in my outlook menu file. should Install
somethingto have this option

Thanks

Don't do it this way, do it by exporting from within Outlook Express. the
main reason for this is that Outlook uses the Modified date of items for
some functions - if you import in Outlook, then the modified date is changed
on all items you import to that of the date of import.....

Are you sure you're not using the friendly menus? By default, at least some
of the importers and exporters are installed, so every installation of
Outlook should have File>Import and Export available, unless the importers
and exporters were specifically excluded. Even if they were, though, you
can certainly use the Office Setup in Add/Remove Programs to add them back
in.

That said, though, Gordon's correct about how to transfer messages from
Outlook Express to Outlook. Use OE. For the contacts and rules, though,
it's best to use Outlook to import the data from OE.
