Import/Export Greyed Out

Using Outlook 2002 SP3, Win Xp sp2

Under file, the import/export option is constantly greyed out.

I've tried the 'run all from my computer' under the control panel.

How can I enable import/export?

From where are you trying to Import/Export? It only works from a main
Outlook folder, not any open folder like contacts.

Trying to import from Excel.

I'm opening the FILE menu while viewing 'inbox' though I don't think it
should matter what view I'm in (other than reading an open mail)

Sorry, got lost with all the MS Passport windows opening, and didn't realise
it took 5 minutes for the post to appear. Throught I'd closed it by mistake
instead of posting.
