Import export feature

I cannot use either the import or export feature of Outlook 2003. My build is
11.8002.6568 SP2. We are on an Exchange 2003 server

When I access the drop down for import export, I get the first screen asking
me what I want to do (import/export), but when I click next nothing happens
-AT ALL.

I tried repairing - I tried uninsatalling and reinstalling. Nothing works.

It makes updating my COmntacts virtually impossible!

Help!

Did your Exchange administrator install these features?
Why would you use exporting to update COmntacts in the first place?

Since I am the only IT like person, I guess I did. I am the defacto Exchange
guy, too.

I need to export contacts from another user who will be leaving the company
into another users mailbox.

Normally, one would simply create a PST file and copy the information you
need into it. Exporting is not a recommended way to transfer Outlook data.
However, the export function should still be available to you. Are you sure
you installed the Importers and Exporters when you deployed these profiles?

Yes, I did check to see if it was installed. I even went so far as to
uninstall completely and re-install to remove a glitch in the registry.

No change - the dialog box appears and is inactive to a mouse click

Uninstalling and reinstalling does nothing to remove "glitches in the
registry."
Can't help you. Not enough information here. Not sure why you still want to
export when that's not the way to transfer Outlook data. Good luck.

Or just open both folders and copy data between them.
