Import Error with Excel - Too many fields defined

I've successfully imported Excel files into Outlook several times. I first
exported a date range to see headers I'd need. I then named my Excel columns
using cut and paste.
When I only used six fields - Subject, Start Date, Start Time, End Date, End
Time, Description - everything went swimmingly. When I used seven fields -
Subject, Start Date, Start Time, End Date, End Time, Description, Location -
I get this error:

Translation Error
An ODBC error has occurred in the Microsoft Excel translator while opening a
file to build a field map.

[Mocrosoft][ODBC Excel Driver] Too many fields defined.

What may be causing this error? ODBC? Field number limit? Outlook being
Outlook?

Thank you.

What I finally did was export some appoinmtents to Excel. I then made sure
every column in my Excel spreadsheet matched the Outlook file EXACTLY. I then
got rid of ALL exteraneous (sp?) info on the Excel spreadsheet. I highlighted
all of the cell I wanted to export to Outlook and went to the Named Range
box. It's the one at the top left corner that shows what cell the cursor is
in. I named the range by just typing into the box. I then saved the file and
closed Excel. For some reason, Outlook pukes when the source file is still
open. You'd think it used the same ODBC code base as Access but I guess it
doesn't.
Anyway, the info came over just fine when I ran the Import data "wizard". I
hope this helps you out.
