Import data from Public Folder

rushi

hi,
We are running Exchange-2003,
Currently when any of our employee requests a vaccation or a day off
that info is put in the "Vacation Calendar" in Public Folders (ie
Public Folders--Calendars--Vacation Calendar).
Is there any way I can pull ths information (ie Names of employes that
are on vaccation) from exchange server and send it to a table in
SQL-2000 Db.

Can any one let me know if there is a way to do this?

I do not have much experience in working with exchange servers. We have
Tracking Enabled on our exchange server and are using LogParser to get
mail statistics from the exchange server logs and send them to a table
in our ms-sql db.

thankx,
Rushi.

Given that there is no built-in connection between Exchange and SQL 2000, that would take custom code or a third-party tool.

FYI, there is a newsgroup specifically for general Exchange administration issues "down the hall" at microsoft.public.exchange.admin or, via web interface, at http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.exchange.admin
