Import contacts

I have an Access 2007 database and one of the tables includes names,
addresses and email addresses of clients. I have tried exporting the records
as a text file with headers. The separating character was set to tab.
I then tried opening the contacts window in Mail and selected import. I
selected the CSV option and the next dialog asked for the file name. This
was provided and the next dialog asked for the field to import (only 1
field) and I selected the header titled email address from the text file. I
received an error message and no contacts were created.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Ken

Thanks for your quick response. I realize the folly of my ways. CSV to me
meant 'Character Separated Variable' which was used many many years ago. It
would appear that Windows Mail can only interpret 'Comma Separated
Variable'. Access allows the saving of a text file with one of numerous
separator characters. I had chosen the 'tab' and it is not recognized by
Windows Mail as a separator.
Thanks again.
