there are several fields in exch file) and go back for the next file all
mappings are gone and i need to remap it again . Is there anyway to save the

no. A workaround may be to consolidate the sheets and do 1 import but I'm
not sure from your post whether that would help you.

Thanks, but they must be separate files. DO you that Business contact manager
has this feature or not? I need to to make these separate contact files and
send them to differnt offices which is another problem .. do you think
Business contract manger will ease this task for me?

Explain the whole story and the platform you are using and you may find a
neater solution offered.

Also do you have Exchange? SharePoint? Which version of everything?

thanks, yes we have exchange 2003 , and outlook 2003 but those people i need
to send contacts are not part of our company's network so im thinking to put
those separate contact files that I created on a website and they can
download them to thier contacts... , I thought maybe business contact manager
might have greater flexibility or more advanced features like keeping the
previous mapping settings or even some sort of batch importing ...

If you want to send them to people outside of your organisation, export to
CSV and send a csv file to them. Then they can import to whatever software
they have at their end.
