Import contacts from Microsoft outlook or Windows mail to windows vista contacts

I imported my contacts from microsoft outlook in to Windows mail, but it
does not show in Windows contacts. Do I have to imported?
It does not make sense that two windows program should not have an easy
connection? When I open Windows contacts and press import I dont even have
the format to import from Microsoft Outlook or Windows mail?
Can any one help?
 
1. Open Microsoft Office Outlook
2. Click "File"
3. Click "Import and Export"
4. Select "Export to a File", click "next"
5. Select "Comma Separated Values(Windows), click "next"
6. Select "Contacts", click "next"
7. Type in where you want to save the file. Click "next"
8. Click "Finish"

1. Open "Windows Mail"
2. Click "File"
3. Click "Import", select "Windows Contacts"
4. Select "CSV Comma Separated Values", click "Import"
5. Type in where file is located.
6. Click "Next"
7. Click "Finish"
