import and export wizard

I have two identical copies of Office Pro 2003, one loaded with XP Operating
system and another with Vista computer. In both I open Outlook, go to
contacts folder, and select File. In the one with Vista, I cannot see a tab
for Import and Export so I can import Excel file contact data from old
computer.

Any reason why? Tks, Phil

Sorry - I meant I have two computers, one with XP and the other with Vista.
Am trying to get my contacts from old computer loaded into new one, but
cannot find import and export wizard in Outlook, contact folder and file.

Don't bother with "import and export". On the old machine, close Outlook and
copy the pst file to the new. Do NOT overwrite the existing file on the new
machine. On the new machine, Open Outlook, go to File-Open-Outlook data
file. open the file you copied. then just either copy or drag and drop the
old data to the new...

Or, if there is no data in the new instaonce of Outlook, just set the old
file as your default delivery location (Control panel-Mail-Data Files) and
you have no copying to d at all.

Perhaps you didn't install the Importers and Exporters when you installed
Office 2003 on the Vista machine.
