Import Addresses

How are Contacts in Outlook accessed when attempting to import these from
another application; in what file are the contacts of Outlook located; and
is this file a CSV format? I am attempting to import my Outlook addresses
into another program. I attempted to open "Outlook.pst" under the assumption
that is where the Contacts were located. I could not do so with the error
message that "Outlook.pst" did not contain any CSV data.

The PST file is where they're store but they're not in CSV format. You can
export to that format using the File menu > Import & Export command, though

In addition, you should never import Outlook data. Just open the PST file.
If the PST file you opened had no Contact data, then you obviously opened
the wrong file.

Unless you meant that you tried to open a PST file in another program. No
other program can open PST files. Only Outlook.

Right. Sorry. I was still asleep when I read your first post and didn't
catch the fact that you had been trying to open an Outlook data file in
another application. Vince got to the coffee before I did.

Yeah, I've been on vacation this past week so I've been up earlier than
usual and slamming the coffee earlier.
