Immediate opening of "Program Files"

is there a way to access the <Program Files> directory without going
through the Windows warning/interrogation dialog each session?

Seems to me there was a way ... although it might have been in Win98 days.

It's not like I'm unaware that programs need to be removed using
"add/remove programs" (most of the time); that I need the constant
assumption that that's what I'm there for and the ensuing nag.
 
Sure.

My Computer | Tools | Folder Options
Under the General tab set "Web View" to "Use Windows calssic folders"
