Immediate Help for a sound problem with powerpoint 20003

I have been ripping music tracks from cd's to my music file, and then
inserting them into the powerpoint presentation... with great success. Then
all of a sudden there is no volume to the new ones I am adding... checked
the sound volume settings and all are the same .... HELP
 
Are the new songs from a different CD? If so it may be a copy protected CD.
