putting a CD track into a powerpoint presentation

I am trying to put a CD track I ripped off a CD onto a powerpoint
presentation but can't get to it through the 'insert sounds' button......any
computer search does not get me to the place where the music is saved. can
anyone help?

Helbeeuk,
Why don't you do a search for *.mp3 or *.wav or *.wma whichever is
appropriate on your harddrive, if it is there you will find it in the search
window.
Usually when you rip you will find a folder with the name of the artist, in
Vista you can find it under the Music folder not sure but I think it was
also the case with Windows XP.
