Imbedded Video Appears as Small Black Screen in PP

Sometimes when I imbed an avi or MPEG video in PP, only a small black screen
appears. The video will not play. Why? The video does play using
RealPlayer, etc.

Not to nitpick or anything, but video is not embedded into PPT. It's linked.

That said, you need to test your videos in mplay32.exe for compatibility
with PPT. RealPlayer doesn't have anything to do with it except for maybe
hijacking your MCI settings. See
