IMAP sent email not showing up???

When I send an email from my IMAP account, the sent email shows up in
the "Personal Folders" but not under the IMAP account from which I
sent it. How can I change this? Please help!

Click around on some of your IMAP folders. The inbox for Gmail works for me.
At some point you will get the option in the main menus to...

Edit->Purge->Purge Options->Folder Tab

There you can set where sent mail is copied.

Now don't ask me about fixing duplicate sent items, since Outlook will save
one, Google will save one if you've set it that way (yours too, perhaps, if
you use something else), and once they sync, you'll have 2 of everything
you've sent through the IMAP account..

Too bad I have POP accounts too and want the ability to use IMAP to see sent
items through the Web interface too.

Btw, I'm using Outlook 2007. Welcome to the mess.

Unless you're using Outlook 2007, you'll have to use a rule to copy the
outgoing messages to the IMAP server.

Ok...and how do you do that in Outlook 2007? The sent mail isn't showing up
in Outlook 2007 either.

Did you configure the delivery folder in (I think - I'm not at my OL 2007
system right now) Tools>Account Settings?

The Rules Wizard is fairly straight-forward and it's not all that difficult
to create an outgoing message rule.
