IMAP POP3

I dont know what this means, what do I put here when setting up a new account
for Windows Mail??

POP3 is usually for Downloadable mail from an single mail box from an ISP.

You will need to follow the published instructions of your mail provider.
Each mail provider has their own mail server names and settings.
If you tell us who your mail provider is, we can look up the instructions

know what i have to fill in by server or something else (IMAP or POP3)?

I'm afraid the only German I speak is to order beer and bratwurst mit pommes
frits so I can't help. There must be a "help" page somewhere on that...

If you can't find the instructions on freemail.de's web site, you might
want to look though the list of newsgroups with names beginning
with microsoft.public.de.windows.vista. to see if you can find one
related to email or general Vista questions, where you'd be more
likely to find someone who would be able to help you search for
the freemail.de instructions.

Since I don't read German all that well, you will need to call your mail
provider for instructions, or else look around on their website
http://freemail.de .
