Make IMAP and POP3 folders the same?
I use a 3rd party e-mail program (web2pop) to get aol mail
into outlook. It works great, but AOL recently started
allowing a direct import of AOL to Outlook which if I
could get it working would probably be a better long term
solution since I'd no longer be reliant on a 3rd party
piece of software.
The problem though is this: to get AOL on outlook you have
to set up AOL as an IMAP e-mail account. This then
generates a whole new category of folders appearing in my
navigation bar - a set of inbox, outbox, sent mail etc ...
just for the AOL mail. All of my other e-mail from various
other accounts via POP3 servers going into my usual
Outlook today personal folders.
Is there any way I can get my IMAP (aol) account using the
same outlook today inbox etc as all my other e-mail
acounts?
Thanks
Jeff
