IMAP Account password is asked

Hello all,

We are using Outlook 2003 in our corporate for deployment. and are using
IMAP account with the same.

For security reasons, we have disabled "Remember Password" checkbox. we are
using PRF customization and CIW MST for few other settings.

Now the problem is that whenever outlook is launched, it immediately throws
the IMAP account password dialog box which we don't want. instead logically
it should ask for that password when user clicks on the IMAP account from the
folder list.

i have also done "AutoSyncDisable" to 1 and even this doesn't work. can
someone help me to suggest some solution for the same.

Thanks
Akshat

Make sure the IMAP account isn't in the automatic send/receive settings.
Check here: Tools menu > Send/Receive > Send/Receive Settings > Define
Send/Recive Groups > Highlight a group > Click Edit

But how do i configure it automatically on 20000 machines. by default it is
included in automatic send/receive group and i don't think any known way
exist to customize it using CIW or OPS settings. it does exist for Exchange
accounts but not for IMAP.

i will appreciate if you can put some more highlight of what you were
suggesting as it might help me to come out of this blocking point.

Thanks

I'm going to have to ask some other more knowledge people about that issue.
I'll get back to you as soon as I have any more info.
