I am looking into imaging XPpro on multiple device which are all the same
configuration. I will have certificates for all the
devices but would like to put the same image on all of them. Can anyone
assist in any legal issues or issues that wouldn't allow me to do this?

Thanks

If by certificates you mean license then legally you can do this. You may
run into a few problems. If the licenses are OEM then you will probably run
into activation problems. If they are a volume license then you won't have
activation problems. If the computers will be networked you will run into
problems because all the computers will have the same name and SID. This can
be fixed by running sysprep before creating the image or something like
Ghostwalker or NewSID after imaging. Google all the above terms for more
info.

Kerry,

Thanks for the reply. Yes the SID was a concern with Win2000 in the past
with as active directories if I remember correctly. Thanks for the
feedback on the volume license info. We are looking to our hardware vendor
to see if they are volume license distributors and go from there.

Once again thanks.
