Imaging problems with WinXP

I'm imaging WinXP PCs for the first time. I created my base image and
pushed the image to the server. Now when I pull the image to PCs of
identical hardware, it won't boot, the machines display the boot menu and
then spontaneous reboot. If I pull the image down to the machine I used to
make the image all is well. What am I doing wrong?

you must sysprep the machine you are imaging first to strip out the SID
of the cloned machine
