I have OS XP Pro and use Front Page for web design. While designing a
recent effort I booted-up and opened FP to the current project. All that
was visible of the images, photos, banners, etc. was the outline with a
little icon in the upper left hand side. The Home Page was even worse,
there was nothing visible yet when I did a PREVIEW everything displayed.
The other pages with just the outline still did not show.

Please help me to understand what is going on.

You images are located in a folder that is outside of your web.
Import them to a location inside your web and then re-insert them.
