Images not displayed on any web pages

We have a machine running Internet Explorer 5.5 (SP1 I think) on Windows
2000 (SP1 I think) that is unable to display any images on any website,
unless you right click the image place holder and click show image.

I have checked the settings against another PC, and they appear to be the
same.

Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this?

Take a look in Internet Options, Advanced, Scroll down to Multimedia
Area. Show pictures and Picture place holder settings, Also update if
necessary.
