Images Not Coming In When Uploaded

Some images apper to cut in half, appears to have static, or just change
colors when uploading the images. This began happeing several months ago. We
have not made any program changes for this to happen. Please HELP!!!! Has
anyone had this problem, if so, what is the fix for it? Thank you.

1. How was this image created?
2. Have you tried replacing the image?

1. Images are saved from another site, sometimes they are pictures we have
taken ourselfts. Regarless of its origin, the problems occurrs we all types
of pictures.
2. Images have been renamed and changed from jpg to gif and problems are
resolved in only very few limited cases.

The weird thing is that this has never happened before in our years of using
frontpage. We've been using Frontpage 2003 since 02; the problem started in
2005 and we have not been able to resolve this issue. Let me know if you need
further information from us. Thanks for your help.

How are you changing the images from JPG to GIF? I hope you are not just renaming them!

There is definately a problem with the images themselves - I tried opening
a couple in graphics editors, and get file corruption errors.
