Images in html message do not print

Images in html message do not print (they show up on the
screen) but only prints a box with a red x.

using windows xp
office xp
IE 6.0 update SP1;Q824145
Outlook 2002 SP2

MS knowledege base article 287768 says its a known problem?

Gives a work around to use Outlook 2002 and IE 5.5 SP2

How do I continue using Windows XP, Outlook 2002 AND GET
FROM IE 6.0 BACK TO 5.5 SP2?

Or, is their a better fix to the problem?

Carl, when you go to Add/ Remove programs and select
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, and remove, one of the
options is to revert back to the previous version. If you
didn't have 5.5 installed before, it will go back to
whatever you had installed and you will have to try and
find 5.5 on the internet because Microsoft doesn't have it
on their site any longer.
