Images - how to publish them in www-pages

I'm trying to update my webpages, but the pictures that I have inserted
don't show at web. How to do it correctly, so that they are shown at my
homepages?
I now that this is "FP for dummies" but please help me quickly!

With your FP web open, File | Import the images from the location on your
hard drive into the images folder in your web, then insert on a page and
save them. Then, publish.

Make sure the images are in a location "inside" your web on your machine.
Then insert them in your pages.

For example, if you are linking to images in your My Images folder on your
computer, and then publishing, it won't work.
