ImageReady 3 pictures

Not sure if this is the right board, but I use Adobe
Image ready 3 to make animated pictures that I then
import into frontpage. I've recently upgraded to
Frontpage 2003 and when I import my pictures now the
rollovers don't work. has anyone else had any problems
like this? I think it might have something to do with the
new interactive buttons but I took them out of the page
and I still have the same problem.

how are you importing the pictures? you'll need the page and code that
image ready generates as well. possibly you just want to import the
pictures and have FrontPage write the code for roll-overs.

I just copy and paste the code from the webpage that
image ready makes straight into Frontpage, then copy the
images from the folder Image Ready makes into the Images
folder that Frontage makes for the website. The rollover
slices are still there it's just not doing the picture
swap.

this may not be the answer, but Import the pix into FP first...don't copy them.

I just copy and paste the code from the webpage that
image ready makes straight into Frontpage, then copy the
images from the folder Image Ready makes into the Images
folder that Frontage makes for the website. The rollover
slices are still there it's just not doing the picture
swap.

Basics:
- images can be animated and swap "frames" within *one* graphic file
- images can have "rollover" capabilities and when the user points at
the image (a link, actually), the mouse over can be detected and
another
image inserted in the spot where the first one is.

The first feature is created in an image program.

The second feature is done by first creating two images (which might
be animated, it doesn't matter) and putting them in a web page with
javascript programming code to support the swapping.

If Image Ready generates a web page, then you should insert that web
page into your FP site and bring the code along with it.
Alternatively,
you can just import the images and use FP features to recreate the
code that swaps them.

Thanks for the help it seems the code has changed. Image
ready calls it "changeimage" and frontapge now calls
it "FP_swpImg" using frontpages one it sortof works I
just don't get why image readys code should stop working
all of a sudden
